Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 2 Alpha launched: Everything you need to know

Galaxy Flex 2 Alpha is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop powered by the latest 11th-gen Intel processors.

Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 2 Alpha has been officially launched silently after getting listed directly on the brand’s website for pre-orders without any talks or hints of the laptop at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung recently launched the Galaxy Book lineup including the Galaxy Book Odyssey and other Galaxy Book variants. This will be the successor to the Galaxy Book Flex Alpha that was launched last year and it’ll come with a similar 2-in-1 convertible design.

Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 2 Alpha specifications and features

The Galaxy Book Flex 2 Alpha features a 13.3-inch QLED FHD touchscreen display with a 1,920×1,080p resolution, 400 nits indoor brightness, and 600 nits outdoor brightness. It is a 2-in-1 convertible laptop that also doubles in as a tablet. Under the hood, it’ll be powered by up to an 11th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. It will run on Windows 10 Home out of the box.

The laptop comes with an aluminum build, a large glass trackpad, and a backlit keyboard. It also packs a 720p webcam, two 1.5W stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos Audio, and dual-array mics. The connectivity options on the laptop include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.  The Galaxy Book Flex 2 Alpha is incredibly lightweight, weighing just 1.18 kg.

The Galaxy Book Flex 2 Alpha is already up for pre-booking in the USA on the official website of Samsung. The Intel Core i5 processor is priced at $849 (approx. ₹63,000) while the Intel Core i7 processor comes with a starting price of $1,049 (approx. ₹77,700). The laptops will be available in two exciting color options – Silver and Black.
