India’s largest smartphone maker Xiaomi announced the launch of Mi QLED TV 75 on Friday along with Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11X series smartphone series. The company said it is taking a step into the world of the bigger screen with the newly launched 75inch TV having Quantum Dot technology.
The new television is equipped with 30W 6 speaker audio setup and 97 percent screen to body ratio with dimming technology boats on its premium design. The new version marketed with the tagline ‘The Theatre for tomorrow’ sounds appealing due to its high-resolution screen of 4K QLED panel for pictures with intense depth and smooth viewing experience. It is said to have topped with Mi’s Vivid picture engine, customized for the Indian audience.
The TV comes with a PatchWall, a comprehensive platform for streaming Smart TV with AIOT connected smart hub. It has support from Android TV 10 for streaming applications. The MP2 graphics with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage enables users to play HDR content.
Similar to recently launched Amazon’s fire TV set top box, the user can interact with the TV on voice to search and access entertainment. But Mi’s TV itself would have built in function ‘Work with Alexa’ to enable users interact using Echo devices.
The most expected Mi TV is priced at ₹1,19,999 marking as of the earlier estimates to be above one lakh. It is available on Flipkart starting from April 27 noon. This is expected to be the company’s significant move to compete with Samsung and LG in QLED screen category.
