Multinational electronics tycoon Sony has launched its new smart Android TV series in India, dubbed Sony Bravia X75. This 43-inch smart LED TV appears at a price of ₹59,990, which has gone on sale in the country on April 21 via major retailers, Sony exclusive stores, and leading e-commerce podiums.
The actual MRP for the 43-inch TV is listed at ₹66,900 and ₹84,900 for the 50-inch variant. But, these are listed at best buy prices of ₹59,990 and ₹72,990 for the 43-inch and 50-inch versions respectively. Experts and reviewers claim that the product is quite expensive in comparison to other 43-inch Ultra-HD smart TVs.
In fact, this device is expected to witness strong competition from other mid-range and affordable brands like Xiaomi, Samsung, OnePlus, and LG. The Sony X75 TV variant operates on Android TV software.
The all-new Sony TVs are backed by Sony X1 4K HDR chipsets and as usual, like other Android TV, this product also permits access to Google Play Store to download various apps, games, and major streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Disney+ Hotstar, and many more. Along with several audio and video connectivity options, the TVs have two USB ports and three HDMI ports.
Both the 50-inch and 43-inch variants sport Ultra-HD HDR displays coupled with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz. In order to support high dynamic range content, the TV is further backed by HDR10 and HLG formats.
