Samsung unveils new wireless Smart Keyboard Trio 500

Samsung has unveiled its new Smart Keyboard Trio 500 on its website on Sunday.  Featured to pair with three different devices at once, it boasts its compatibility to switch between the paired devices in one click.

The compact slim keyboard is said to come with special functions for enhanced performance. It allows users to customize hotkeys for frequently used apps for one-click access.

The keyboard comes with a DeX shortcut key. “By accessing DeX via the Samsung Smart Keyboard Trio 500, reaching a desktop-like performance and productivity becomes a reality you can manifest from anywhere. Work with multiple windows at once, efficiently respond to messages and emails on one screen, and achieve beyond the boundaries of devices,” stated the website.

The manual keyboard has 78 keys, uses two AAA batteries connecting on Bluetooth with a 6-digit security key. The smart device weighing 412.3g makes it highly portable and has two colour variants white and black. It seems to have a flat base with angled design sloping downwards and slip resistant pads to keep the device in place when in use.

Max Jambor of All about Samsung has posted a tweet doubting it to be an additional accessory to the new Galaxy book models. The tech giant is yet to announce the wireless keyboard’s official release, it is rumoured to be launched in the upcoming Samsung Unpacked event on April 28. The pricing remains unknown.
