Samsung will soon launch its first 5G smartphone Galaxy M series in India. This is considered to be the most affordable phone with price estimations between ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 according to sources.
The new handset is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750g processor with two storage variants of 6 and 8GB RAM. It may come with an AMOLED FHD display of 6.6inch, 64megapixel camera, and fingerprint sensor. The battery is expected of 6000mAh with fast charging support of around 15W.
Galaxy M42 is said to have cleared BIS, 3C and DEKRA certification. Social media leaks with the hashtag ‘fastermonster’ is a hint to 5G support. It is expected to come with Samsung Knox security to protect sensitive data from malwares and hacks. Leaks from tipsters have claimed the model may be a rebranded version of Galaxy A42 5G.
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G has taken over the Internet even since March when Samsung opened the models support page this year. However, the manufacturer is yet to confirm the launch. While the model remained on upcoming gadget lists, we could only know a little about the specifications.
Samsung has launched Galaxy S21, S20 variants, Galaxy Z Fold 2 this year with 5G support. Few other leaks on Samsung revealed the company is working on developing other 5G models recently.
