LG Ultra Gear 17 laptop launched: Everything you need to know

LG's latest laptop will feature high-end specs including the latest 11th Gen Tiger Lake Intel Core processors.

Although LG doesn’t have a massive presence in the laptop space, outside of the perennial favorites from LG’s Gram lineup, the company is working on changing that, especially with the launch of the high-end LG Ultra Gear 17. LG will be looking to boost its laptop sales with the launch of its new high-performance laptop in South Korea. The stunning laptop features exceptional specifications including a massive 17-inch display, the latest 11th Gen Tiger Lake Intel Core processors, and a Dual Power Cooling System.

LG Ultra Gear 17 specifications and features

LG Ultra Gear 17 comes with a 17-inch WQXGA display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and 2,560×1,600p resolution. Under the hood, it’ll be powered by an 11th Gen Tiger Lake Intel Core processor, which will be complemented perfectly by Nvidia GeForce GTX1659i GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD. Moreover, it will come with Windows 10 OS out of the box.

Internally, the Ultra Gear 17 will be cooled with Dual Power Cooling System, which employs two fans and offers quality cooling to make sure your laptop functions smoothly for hours. The laptop features an 80Whr battery while weight 1.9kg. The connectivity options on this laptop include a USB 4 port that supports USB-Power Delivery, three USB 3.1 ports, an HDMI port, and a DC charger port.

A few months back, LG also launched its Gram 360 lineup with 14-inch and 16-inch laptops that were powered by 11th Gen Tiger Lake Intel Core Processors with Intel Iris Xe Graphics.

LG Ultra Gear 17 price and availability

LG announced via an official press release that the LG Ultra Gear 17 will come with a starting price of KRW 2.24 million (approx. ₹1.14 lakh) for the base variant with an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage.

Although LG hasn’t made it official when the laptop will be available globally but more information is expected to come out in the coming weeks.
