Huawei has officially released another exceptional fitness smart band, expanding its smart wearable portfolio. Huawei has launched the Huawei Band 6 and it comes with an array of fitness features. The band sports a large AMOLED display and a massive battery backup. Apart from that, there are also health features like heart monitoring, sleep tracking, stress monitoring, and blood oxygen tracker, among others. The fitness band looks very similar to the Honor Watch ES, which is available in India for ₹4,999.
Huawei Band 6 specifications and features
Huawei Band 6 comes with a 1.47-inch AMOLED full-view color display with a 194x368p resolution, a 64 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a 148 percent larger size than its predecessor. The new smart wearable comes with a skin-friendly UV-treated silicone strap and it offers a bunch of amazing health features.
The smart band features Huawei’s TruSeen 4.0 24/7 Heart Rate Monitoring, Huawei’s TruSleep 2.0 Sleep Monitoring, and the TruRelax stress monitoring technology. Moreover, there is SpO2 blood-oxygen saturation monitoring feature as well.
There are menstrual cycle tracking and the ability to control music playing through the phone. The new fitness band comes with more than 96 workout modes including the basic modes like running, treadmill, swimming, rowing, etc. There are also alerts for phone calls, weather updates, message notifications, and a remote shutter for the smartphone’s camera that is connected to your smart band.
The fitness band is 5ATM waterproof (up to 50 meters), supports Bluetooth v5.0, compatible with Android 6.0 or later/iOS 9.0 or later, and measures 43×25.4×10.99mm. One of the best features about this new smart band is that it offers up to 14 days of battery life or up to 10 days of heavy usage. In fact, Huawei claims the Band 6 can offer two days of battery life at just 5 minutes of charging.
Huawei Band 6 price and availability
The Huawei Band 6 is priced at RM 219 (approx. ₹3,800) and already on sale in the Malaysian market. The fitness band will be available on sale on Huawei’s official online store from April 4 in Malaysia. It will come in three color options – Forest Green, Graphite Black, and Amber Sunrise. The global availability of the fitness band hasn’t been announced yet, but more information is expected to come out soon.
