Nokia could soon be launching its new G-series, with reports hinting that the Nokia G10 could be the first smartphone in this series.
The new Nokia G10, with the model number TA-1334, has been spotted online and is tipped to be marketed as a gaming-centric smartphone. It is expected that the upcoming smartphone will feature a 6.4-inch display and come with an octa-core processor for avid gamers. Moreover, it will house a quad-camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. There aren’t any details on the other sensors but it is expected to have an ultra-wide sensor, a depth sensor, and a macro lens.
Nokia G10 could have a high refresh rate (though it isn’t confirmed yet). The processor name hasn’t been revealed either.
HMD Global gearing towards entering the gaming smartphone market
With the launch of the Nokia G10, HMD Global will make its debut in the gaming smartphone arena. 2020 had been an unimpressive year for HDM Global. Multiple smartphones were expected to be launched last year and they’re yet to be officially launched while the Android 11 rollout for eligible devices has also been slow. However, there is exciting news from the Finnish company as it is set to launch a new gaming smartphone.
Nokia G10 spotted on a Russian website ahead of official launch
The Nokia G10 was recently spotted on a Russian website ahead of the launch. The upcoming handset was listed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage among other details. Moreover, it was listed in a Blue color option.
The phone is expected to share most of its specs with the Nokia 5.4 but a few notable differences are expected. There is no official news on when the smartphone will be launched but it could be sooner rather than later as it has already been certified by TÜV Rheinland in Thailand and has appeared on a Russian website.
