LG launches PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier and Air Conditioner lineup

LG has officially launched one of its most eagerly awaited products in the Philippines in the form of the LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier. In a recent livestream, James Deakin, the Brand Ambassador introduced the Air Purifier products and Air conditioner lineup.

The self-purifying mask introduced almost a year ago was one of the most coveted techwear pieces will be accompanied by LG’s new line of air conditioners featuring UVnano technology.

UVnano in LG PuriCare Wearable eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria

UVnano is LG’s latest innovation that will revolutionize personal protection. This technology will use UV light to successfully eliminate up to 99.9 percent of bacteria. The LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier’s charging case makes use of this technology to clean the mask when it isn’t being used. Similarly, the air conditioners also use ultraviolet light to sterilize the fan and prevent 99.9 percent of germs from adhering to its surface.

The products offer air protection with HEPA filters to filter out 99 percent of harmful particles to give clean, fresh air. The Safety Certification from KIPS (Korean Institute of Public Safety) is proof of how reliable the products are while bacteria filtration and virus removal performances are verified through internal tests conducted under TUV Rheinland Korea.

LG Air Conditioner lineup to offer pure, clean air through Aircare Complete System

When you’re at home, the best option to enjoy pure, clean air will be LG’s brand new lineup of air conditioners that utilize the new Aircare Complete System. It is a multi-step filtration process with UVnamo that reduces harmful bacteria and allergens to ensure the cleanliness of the air you’re breathing.

The first step of the air-cleaning process involves the Safe Plus Pre-Filter that traps big dust particles while removing bacteria from the start. Next, the Ultra-Fine Dust (HAF) filter collects Particulate Matter 1.0 ultra-fine dust combined with (-) ion from the Ion diffuser. Next comes the Allergy Filter that’ll reduce allergens with a filter to provide healthier air with UVnano technology that keeps the fan 99.99% bacteria-free and offers a cleaner breeze.

LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier comes at a retail price of P8,699 (approx. ₹13,000) while LG’s new lineup of Air Conditioners comes with a starting price of P53,999 (approx. ₹90,000). These products are available on Shopee, Lazada, and other authorized dealers in the Philippines.

There isn’t any official news when these products will come to India, but it’ll be interesting to see if LG launches these products globally, especially in India.
