Amid numerous speculations and leaks, a new report by 9to5Mac has stated that the upcoming much-awaited iPhone 13 would be furnished with an internal storage of 1TB. Its predecessor, iPhone 12 was equipped with a storage of 512GB that gained much popularity among the users. Now, it is speculated among experts that the Cupertino smartphone maker is aiming to take its storage option to the next level with a capacity of 1TB in all the iPhone 13 series.
It was also predicted among leaksters that there will be an improvement in the LiDAR technology in all the upcoming iPhone models. It is a unique technology for measuring distance by illuminating the target with laser light. Basically, it is a well-known remote sensing method used for measuring the exact distance of an object on the earth’s surface. Apple is yet to announce official information on its upcoming iPhone models.
The 9to5Mac report also reported that as of now, it is still unclear whether the 1TB option will be available in all the iPhone 13 lineup or not. As of now, 512GB is the highest storage option offered by Apple on its iPhones, but iPad Pro lineups do appear with 1TB ROM.
