Samsung plans to increase display refresh rate of Galaxy series phones

  • The 5G versioned Galaxy A52 phone would be featured in two variants; a 6GB RAM+128GB storage, and an 8GB RAM+256GB storage.
  • The upcoming Galaxy A72 and Galaxy A51 phones would be furnished with a 90Hz display.

In order to increase the popularity of Galaxy A series smartphones, the South Korean firm Samsung is now aiming to escalate the refresh rate of its ‘A’ series phone’s display, claims reports. These mid-range series phones have gained huge popularity among Indian consumers and have thrown tough competition to its rivals like Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo. 

For the past several quarters, ‘A’ series smartphones are the most sold phones by Samsung globally. Galaxy A 51 and Galaxy A10 have ruled the kingdom of smartphones. According to a report from an anonymous source, the upcoming Galaxy A72 and Galaxy A51 phones would be furnished with a 90Hz display, which is claimed to be the highest refresh rate for any mid-range smartphone in the world. 

The premium and flagship Samsung smartphones appear with a 120Hz refresh rate display. In fact, it is also speculated that the Galaxy A52 phone with 5G technology would be equipped with a 120Hz display. 

The 5G versioned Galaxy A52 phone would be featured in two variants; 6GB RAM+128GB storage, and 8GB RAM+256GB storage. Samsung Galaxy A52 would be powered by a Snapdragon 750G chipset and is also expected to flaunt a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED display. The photography department of the phone would sport a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 5MP depth sensor, a 5MP macro sensor, while the selfie department would be powered by a 32MP sensor.
