Oppo Find X3 was recently spotted on multiple benchmark listings, revealing not only the scores but a few key specs as well. The smartphone appears to come with either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC or the Snapdragon 865 SoC, while it is expected to run on Android 11 OS out of the box. Moreover, Oppo Find X is speculated to be accompanied by Oppo Find X3 Lite, Oppo Find X3 Pro, and Oppo Find X3 Neo. All of these models will be launched in 2021 and be a part of the company’s Find X series.
Oppo Find X3 appears on Geekbench and AnTuTu listings
The chipset powering the Oppo Find X3 was listed on Geekbench as ‘Kona in the motherboard section. Interestingly, it is the codename for Snapdragon 865 SoC. However, another leak from the AnTuTu listing stated that the device will reportedly come with Snapdragon 870 SoC, which is essentially Snapdragon 865++ as it shares most of the specs.
Another detail worth noting is that the multi-core score for the Find X3 was relatively lower than what most Snapdragon 865-powered phones achieve in the tests, but the single-core score was high. It is a possibility that the benchmark tests might have been performed on a pre-production model and the retail version would give better results.
In terms of scores, the Oppo Find X3 scored 4,289 points in the single-core test, while for the multi-core test it scored 12,843.
A Twitter user reported that the Find X3 was spotted on benchmark sites AIDA64 and Antutu with the model number PEDM00. The AIDA listing revealed that the device will feature 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and be powered by the ‘Kona’ chipset. AnTuTu listing, on the other hand, suggested that the device will come with the Snapdragon 870 chipset while also suggesting the presence of ColorOS 11.2 on top of Android 11.
Oppo Find X3 expected specifications and features
The Oppo Find X3 is like to feature a 6.7-inch display with a 1,080×2,412p resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is going to be powered by either Snapdragon 870 or Snapdragon 865 SoC, which will be complemented by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
While the specs for Oppo Find X3 are currently unknown, the Find X3 Pro is expected to sport a quad-camera setup at the rear, consisting of 50MP + 50MP + 13MP + 3MP sensors. Moreover, it is tipped to come with a 4,500mAh battery with 65W wired charging support and 30W wireless charging support.
More information is expected to come out in the next few weeks as the device’s appearance on multiple benchmarking sites is pointing to an imminent launch.
