Nubia debuted the Nubia Watch last July and now, the company is looking to add a new smartwatch to its portfolio – the RedMagic Watch.
While having a smartphone is great for your day-to-day activities, but complementing it with a quality smartwatch will only take your comfort and user experience to another level. Nubia is looking to achieve just that as it is working on the RedMagic Watch, which has already been spotted on the FCC site. The smartwatch’s FCC listing doesn’t leave a lot to the imagination as it seems to confirm the design, specs, and features of the upcoming smart wearable.
FCC listing confirms the design and specs of the RedMagic Watch
According to the FCC listing, the Nubia RedMagic Watch will have two buttons on the right edge (the power on/off and shortcut keys) while the back of the dial will include the charging pin and heart rate sensor.
The smartwatch features a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454 x 454p resolution and packs a 420mAh battery. The sensors included in the smartwatch include a gyroscope, heart rate sensor, ambient light sensor, acceleration sensor, and geometric sensor. The watch is compatible with all the devices having Android 4.4 and above while the connectivity options include GLONASS, GPS, and Bluetooth v5.0.
The RedMagic Watch will come with detachable straps in two options – leather and silicone. Moreover, the straps will be detachable, which means you can change between the two according to your preferences.
Link the watch to your smartphone and explore the fitness features
The RedMagic Watch can be easily linked to the RedMagic Sports app on your smartphone. You can control the Nubia account from your smartphone, which will give you better control over the watch’s features. While it doesn’t feature the SpO2 sensor, the watch still watch comes with a wide array of fitness features that make it a great companion for your workouts and fitness activities.
The Nubia RedMagic features a 5 ATM water-resistance rating, making the watch resistant to water activities like swimming, river rafting, sweaty workouts, and more. Even though the watch is water-resistant, it is advised that you avoid using it in saunas, hot showers, underwater diving, and other activities that involve deep water or high-speed currents.
With the Nubia RedMagic appearing on the FCC certification, it is likely that the official launch is not far away. More information is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
