As per recent reports, the update for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 carries the firmware version R840XXU1BUA8 and s available for download in the United States, Korea, and India. According to the changelog shared by the publication, the update file will be 74MB in size and can be downloaded through the Galaxy Wearable app. The update will bring a bunch of new features, but the highlight is surely the SmartThings Find Feature. This feature will allow you to locate Samsung Galaxy devices like smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, earbuds, and more.
This feature makes use of BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and UWB (Ultra-wideband) technologies to help locate devices. Samsung users will be able to use this feature even if the missing device is offline/switched off, as long as it has enough battery juice to send Bluetooth and UWB signals.
