LG announces 2021 global rollout of TVs with range of OLED, NanoCell, and QNED Mini LED

LG's new OLED, NanoCell, and QNED MiniLED TVs to go on sale in the first quarter of 2021.

LG Electronics has announced that it will be rolling out the 2021 LG TV range with the new lineup featuring the latest OLED, NanoCell, and QNED Mini LED TVs. The TV range will have stunning screens with sizes beginning from 43 and going to 88 inches.

After unveiling the 2021 LG TV range among other revolutionary gadgets at the virtual CES 2021 event, LG has announced that it’ll start rolling out the lineup globally. While the prices have not been released yet, the TVs will be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2021.

LG’s latest OLED, NanoCell, and QNED Mini LED TVs to hit the market

LG’s OLED TV range will sport self-lit panels while the G1 series will come with the OLED Evo Technology and the A1 and B1 series of OLED TVs will feature in the price-competitive segment.

OLED

LG is offering two new models (QNED 99 and QNED 95) under its LG QNED Mini LED TV range while NANO99 and NANO95 will feature in the NanoCell 8K range. Moreover, this range also consists of six 4K options – QNED855, QNED90, NANO75, NANO77, NANO85, and NANO90) in the two ranges as well.

Apart from Mini LED backlighting, LG’s new QNED TVs will also feature the company’s latest Quantum Dot NanoCell technology.

2021 LG TV Range to feature some of the most advanced TVs in the market

All of the LG TVs released in 2021 will come with HDMI 2.1, which will support ALLM or Automatic Low Latency Mode, delivering better performance while gaming. Moreover, the premium offerings will also include eARC, Filmmaker mode, Dolby Atmos HDR 10 Pro, Dolby Vision IQ, and more.

LG’s advanced intelligent processer, α (Alpha) 9 Gen 4 AI, which the company claim boosts upscaling performance while making the content look sharper and detailed, will power the TVs. Moreover, the processor will also optimize visual output, helping the TV make smart adjustments according to the amount of light that enters the room.

OLED

With the advancement of the global rollout, LG also revealed that the 2021 LG TV range will run on webOS 6.0, which provides users with more personalized recommendations and faster access to the apps. When switching between different channels, the AI Sound Pro ensures that the volume levels remain consistent.

The 2021 LG TV range is also equipped with Bluetooth Surround Ready, enabling connections with multiple speakers and providing a stadium-like experience when watching sports or TV events.
