Xiaomi Black Shark 4 could be the next big gaming smartphone to launch and it could be released sooner than expected. The upcoming gaming phone was spotted on Google Play Console, an app developer tool by Google, suggesting that it’ll come sooner rather than later.
However, the Black Shark 4 is unlikely to be the next big Xiaomi device out as the Xiaomi Mi 11 is scheduled for a global launch on February 8th. The gaming phone could follow the launch of Mi 11.
Black Shark 4 spotted on Google Play Console
Xiaomi is working behind the scenes on the Black Shark 4 gaming phone and the device has already appeared on Google Play Console, revealed a few key specs. The smartphone is codenamed Kaiser, which is the German word for ‘Emperor’.
Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is expected to come with 8GB of RAM and run on Android 11 out of the box. The listing also revealed that the phone is likely going to have a Full HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. While there isn’t an official confirmation yet but the Black Shark 4 is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset under the hood. The phone will be packed with a 4,5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

The Black Shark CEO officially confirmed that the upcoming gaming phone will come with 120W fast charging support. The device will pack a 4,500mAh battery that will go from 0% to 100% in 15 minutes, making it the fastest charging gaming phone in the market.
There are huge expectations from the device, especially after its prototype managed to rack up an impressive 788,505 points on AnTuTu benchmark, which is higher than Oppo Find X3, Mi 11, etc.
Upon its launch, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 will become the successor to last year’s Black Shark 3 and will come with an impressive Snapdragon 888 chipset and FHD+ OLED display, making it a treat for gamers.
Not a lot of information is available on the smartphone in terms of specs and features. However, it is likely to pack several upgrades over its predecessor. Moreover, the device is expected to be launched soon and more information is likely to surface online in the coming weeks.
