The Vivo X60 Pro Plus launch date is made official as the device will be unveiled in January after a slight delay. The device was teased at the December 2020 Vivo X60 series launch event.
The Vivo event on December 29 saw the launch of three Vivo devices – Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro, and Vivo X60 Pro Plus. There were no updates about the specifications or price, which lead to a lot of speculation. However, Vivo has ended the speculation and rumors by taking to its Weibo account and revealed that the X60 Pro Plus will be officially announced at 7:30 pm (China Time) on January 21.
The device has already received Geekbench listing as the handset sporting model no. V2056A has received 3C certification earlier this month. It is expected to come with Snapdragon 888 SoC, 12GB of RAM, 55W charging, and Android 11 OS.

While Vivo X60 and X60 Pro are powered by the Exynos 1080 chipset, the X60 Pro Plus could be powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The processor will be complimented well by 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage while it is expected to run on OriginOS based on Android 11 OS.
In terms of camera specifications, there isn’t any concrete information out there except the Vivo X60 Pro Plus comes with an advanced quad camera with ZEISS optics. However, the X60 Pro Plus is expected to have slightly better camera specifications than the X60 Pro.
