Razer has added a major product to its gaming mouse lineup after it launched the Razer Viper 8K gaming mouse that the company claims has the fastest speed and lowest response time or latency ever achieved. The highlight of this gaming mouse is certainly the improved optical switches and Hyperpolling technology that can deliver an 8,000Hz polling rating.
Moreover, the company claims the upcoming gaming mouse will feature an ambidextrous design, allowing you to enjoy this light-weighted gaming mouse regardless of your hand preference.
Razer Viper 8K Gaming Mouse specifications and features
Razer Viper 8K gaming mouse features an ambidextrous design, making it a suitable option for both right- and left-handed users. The mouse has an 8,000Hz polling rate, meaning that it sends data to the PC/laptop 8x more than the regular 1,000Hz polling rate gaming mouse.

Moreover, it features a high-speed USB microcontroller and weighs just 71 grams. The gaming mouse uses Razer’s second-gen optical switches that offer as many as 70 million clicks.
You also get a tactical scroll wheel and up to 20,000 DPI optical sensors on the Razer Viper 8K. The onboard memory will allow you to store your profile in the mouse, helping you to retain your settings even if it is plugged into a different PC/laptop.
There are as many as eight programmable buttons on this gaming mouse while it also supports Razer Chroma RBG lighting that shines through the logo on the body. For allowing silky-smooth movement, the mouse has 100% PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) feet and advanced features like lift-off/landing distance customization. The mouse also allows you to adjust sensitivity on-the-fly and comes with an 8m long Speedflex cable.
