Microsoft's most affordable surface laptop enters the Indian market starting at just ₹63,499

Microsoft has launched its most affordable surface laptop – the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go in India. This laptop, similar to other Surface laptops, features the usual asterisk that its affordability is completely subjective. It comes in a fairly compact design as Microsoft looks to offer a balanced package. The laptop looks stunning and packs a punch to help it get through the day. The aggressive pricing is the real head-turner as the laptop comes with a starting price of ₹63,499 for the base model (4GB of RAM+128GB of storage).

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go specifications and features

The latest Surface laptop features a 12.45-inch PixelSense display and is powered by the 10th-Gen Intel Core i5 processor. The processor is perfectly complemented by up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of SSD storage. Moreover, it runs on the Windows 10 Home OS.

Microsoft has provided a full-size keyboard with a precision trackpad, a USB Type-C port, USB-A ports, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.0. For security, the laptop has an optional fingerprint reader-integrated power button with support for One Touch sign-in and Windows Hello features.

The Surface laptop has omnisonic speakers that are backed by studio mics and Dolby Audio while also including a 720p HD webcam for video calling. Further, it is capable of delivering an all-day battery life before having to charge again.

For the corporate world, the laptop includes the Windows Autopilot feature to help companies assign it to employees for work-from-home jobs. Besides, the laptop weighs 1.11 kg and measures 278.18 x 205.67 x 15.69 mm.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go pricing and availability

The price for the Surface Laptop Go starts at ₹63,499 for the base variant featuring 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There are other variants too with the 8GB of RAM+128GB of storage priced at ₹71,999, the 8GB of RAM+128GB of storage variant priced at ₹91,999, and the high-end 16GB of RAM+256GB of storage variant priced at ₹1,10,999.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go will arrive in a Platinum color option and available for purchase from January 22nd. It can be purchased from commercial authorized sellers and online sellers including Reliance Digital and Amazon. Previously, the Surface Laptop Go debuted in the US in October last year at $549.99 in Ice Blue, Sandstone, and Platinum colors.
