Apple MacBook Pro will receive major redesigns in 2021 according to details released on January 14 by Ming-Chi Kuo, the Apple analyst. The MacBook Pro will be upgraded with major redesigns and this is one of the first redesigns that the laptop will get. It is an upgrade of the 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro as well. The new MacBook Pro will reportedly hit the markets in the third quarter of 2021.
The new MacBook Pro will feature 14-inch and 16-inch laptops. The redesigned Apple laptops will have an ARM Apple silicon as its CPU. Kuo has also given a few insights for the Apple MacBook Pro redesign. The new MacBook Pro will not have the Touch Bar and instead will be replaced with a physical row of function keys. Most of the users will not have to buy additional dongles anymore as the MagSafe charging connector will come back with more built-in IO ports.
The upcoming version of the MacBook Pro will come with an all-new chassis design. The MacBook Pro will have squared-off sides, both at the top and bottom halves of the device.
The flat-edge design that started in 2018 with the iPad Pro and was seen in iPhone 12 series in 2020, will be integrated into the new MacBook Pro.
The new Apple MacBook Pro will provide similar features to the 2015 MacBook Pro that will integrate the traditional IO ports along with the integration of physical function keys and MagSafe for power. The traditional feature will be encased in an all-new external design and the devices will be powered by the ultra-fast ARM chips which are Apple-designed.
