ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G launched officially: Everything you need to know

ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G is now official and it features a unique 6.47-inch flexible curved display and Snapdragon 765G SoC

Popular Chinese manufacturer ZTE has finally announced the much-awaited 5G smartphone ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G in China. Earlier, the company had launched a vanilla version that resembled the Blade A7s 2020 4G. The ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G is a stunning mid-range handset that features the powerful Snapdragon 765G and a 6.47-inch flexible curved display.

ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G to come with a flexible, curved display with 3D glass

The ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G comes covered in a 3D glass on both sides. ZTE even claims that this handset is very comfortable to hold as it is just 7.9mm in thickness. Moreover, it is very lightweight as it weighs just 168 grams.

Blade 20 Pro 5G features a 6.47-inch flexible curved AMOLED screen with a waterdrop notch display. It has a 19:5:9 aspect ratio and a FHD+ 2,340×1,080p resolution. However, there is no refresh rate on this device. The device also comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor and complemented well by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Moreover, the storage can be increased to as much as 2TB using the microSD card slot.

Blade 20 Pro 5G packs an impressive camera setup

In terms of camera specs, the device comes with a quad-camera setup at the back. There is a rectangular module that houses a 64MP primary camera as well as an 8MP 120° ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP 4CM macro camera. Moreover, ZTE claims the device can easily record in 4K at 60fps. Moreover, the users can also enjoy image stabilization when recording with the primary and ultra-wide cameras. With the front, you get a 20MP front camera that clicks crystal clear selfies.

The device packs a 4,000mAh battery with support for the Quick Charge 4+ standard. It comes with ZTE’s MiFavor 10 on top of Android 10. Moreover, the connectivity options include 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C 3.1, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

ZTE Blade 20 Pro 5G availability and color options

Blade 20 Pro 5G was launched officially in China on November 30th. The device is likely to come in a single color option – Blue. However, there is no information on when the device will be available for sale or the price. Though looking at the specs, it is widely expected to cost around ₹25,000. More information about the smartphone will be available in the coming days.
