Vivo is back in the market with its Y series, this time with the launch of Vivo Y20A in India. This new, exciting smartphone is Vivo’s latest model in the budget segment and comes with a bunch of exciting features at a fairly affordable price. Some of the highlights include AI triple-rear cameras and a 5,000mAh battery. Vivo claims that the battery can deliver as much as 17 hours of HD streaming and over 10 hours of gaming.
Vivo Y20A specifications and features
The Vivo Y20A features a 6.51-inch Halo iView HD+ IPS display with a 720 x 1,600p resolution, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a waterdrop notch. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 439 chipset and is complemented well by 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (which can be further expanded via a microSD card slot). The dual-SIM (Nano) phone comes with Android 11-based FunTouch OS 11 out of the box.
In terms of camera specifications, the new Vivo handset houses a triple-rear camera setup with a 13MP primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP bokeh sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, and lastly a 2MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For the front camera, the phone houses an 8MP selfie cam with an f/1.8 aperture.
The device packs a 5,000mAh battery that comes with support for 10W fast charging. In fact, Vivo claims that the Y20A is capable of delivering over 17 hours of HD streaming and over 10 hours of gaming. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, Micro-USB port, FM radio, a 3.5mm audio jack, and more while there is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Vivo Y20A price and availability in India
The Y20A is priced at just ₹11,490 for the 3GB RAM+64GB internal storage variant. The handset will come in two exciting color options – Dawn White and Nebula Blue. It’ll be available across Vivo India e-store, partner retail stores, and major e-commerce websites from January 2nd.
