Redmi 9 Power available for sale in India for the first time

  • Redmi 9 Power is priced at Rs. 10,999 for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant
  • The phone will be exclusively available through Mi Homes, Mi Studios, and Mi Stores as well as via mi.com and amazon.in.

Xiaomi’s Redmi 9 power will be available for sale in India for the first time, which will be available offline as well as mi.com and amazon.in. Last week, the phone was launched in India as a rebranded Redmi Note 9 4G.

The phone is available in two variants; a 4GB+64Gb ROM at a price of Rs 10,999, while the other model 4GB+128GB carries a price tag of Rs 11,999. The sale has begun from 12 noon onwards. The phone is available in four colour options: Mighty Blach, Fiery Red, Blazing Blue, and Electric Green.

Coming to the features of the device, the newly launched Redmi 9 Power a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display coupled with a resolution of 1,080×2,340 pixels and also equipped with waterdrop-style notch technology. Along with a 4GB RAM, the phone is backed by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset coupled with Adreno 610 GPU.

The optical department of the device sports a quad rear camera setup furnished with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, 2MP macro-shooter, and a 2MP depth-sensor. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP sensor on the front side. 

Redmi 9 Power operates on Android 10 with MIUI 12 on top and appears with 128GB of internal storage that can be increased upto 512GB via an external microSD card. With support for 18W fast charging, the phone is powered by 6,000mAh battery and the various connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, infrared (IR) blaster, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
