A few months back, Realme announced new IoT products in India. Before the launch, there were hints dropped about Realme releasing a premium smartwatch that would take on the Mi Watch Revolve. However, Realme pulled out of the move at that time. Now, it is back, waiting to launch its first premium smartwatch in India – the Realme Watch S Pro. Moreover, isn’t coming alone. It’ll be launched alongside another stunning smartwatch, Realme Watch S.
Realme has already released Realme Watch S during IFA Berlin 2020 (or the Internationale Funkausslellung Berlin), a reputed trade show for premium consumer electronics. It is already available in regions like Pakistan and Europe but now it will soon be available in India too. The Watch S Pro variant, on the other hand, hasn’t made its global debut yet.
Realme Watch S Pro teaser hints at India launch soon
The Watch S Pro teasers were shared by Madhav Sheth, Realme’s India and Europe CEO, confirming the new smartwatch is set to be launched in India soon. It is likely to be released with the Realme Watch S.

The first teaser shows the Watch S Pro with a second watch, likely to be the Watch S. Additionally, Sheth also shared a picture wearing the Watch S Pro, confirming that the watch will come with a purple dial.
Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro expected specifications
Realme Watch S is likely to come with a 1.3-inch LCD touch screen display having a 360 x 360p resolution. This will be the first time a Realme Watch comes with support for auto-brightness adjustment. The watch will have a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to make it scratch-resistant while it also comes with an IP68 rating, making it water-resistant for up to 1.5m.
The smartwatch offers 16 sports modes including outdoor run, indoor run, and walk. Moreover, it features numerous sensors including an optical heart-rate sensor to keep your health in check. The software used is very similar to the original Realme Watch that featured a FreeRT-based proprietary OS. However, Watch S doesn’t support the function to reply to the notifications, which can be a negative for some. It comes with a 390mAh battery that is able to deliver up to 15 days of battery charge. Moreover, it can go from zero to fully-charged in just 2 hours thanks to the proprietary magnetic charger.
The Watch S Pro, on the other hand, is the premium option. The smartwatch made it to the FCC Certification, revealing a few key details. It comes with a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a 454 x 454p resolution and an auto-brightness sensor. It packs a 420mAh battery and comes with a built-in GPS sensor along with an accelerometer, heart-rate sensor, geomagnetic, gyroscope, and more.
The Realme Watch S is expected to be priced in the ₹7,000-ish region while the Watch S Pro could cost around ₹10,000.
