Last month, it was reported that Nokia will partner up with Lava for manufacturing and increasing its brand in the Indian market. For people unaware, Lava is India’s homegrown smartphone brand that was once considered among the most trusted brands in the country. While Lava has lost its place in the market and eclipsed by Xiaomi, Vivo, etc, Lava hasn’t completely gone out of business. After a long break, Lava has finally risen from the ashes and is set to launch its new budget smartphone – the Lava Beu.
The new budget phone offers a slew of exciting specifications at a fairly low price. The highlights are definitely the 6.08-inch display and the Android 10 Go OS.
Lava BeU specifications and features
Lava’s comeback smartphone features a 6.08-inch HD+ LCD with a waterdrop notch and a 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Unison SC9863A chipset that comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It might seem low but the combination of 2GB of RAM+32GB storage is common at this price range.

Coming to the front camera, it houses an 8MP selfie sensor to click great selfies and have seamless video calls.
