Vivo is set to launch its latest budget smartphone Vivo Y1s in India soon though there is no official confirmation yet. To recall, Vivo Y1s was launched in Cambodia back in August so the specs of the Indian version are already known. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.22-inch display, a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, and a 4,030mAh battery. The handset is already available in a few global markets and is set to be Vivo’s latest model in its Y series that has young customers as its target audience.
Vivo Y1s rumored specifications and features
The Vivo Y1s has already been launched in Cambodia so the specs of the Indian variant are likely to be similar. The Y1s will feature a 6.22-inch HD+ display with 720x1520p resolution with a 19:9 facet ratio. Powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, the Y1s comes with 2GB or 3GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded to as much as 256GB using a microSD slot. The smartphone is likely to come with the Funtouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10 out of the box.
In terms of camera specs, the smartphone houses a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture while you’re also getting a 5MP front camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, a micro-USB port, GPS/A-GPS, and more. The device also features sensors like a proximity sensor, an ambient mild sensor, and an accelerometer.
The smartphone weighs just 161 grams and measures 155.11×75.09×8.28mm. Moreover, to keep the phone running for long Vivo has included a 4,030mAh battery.

Vivo Y1s rumored price
Vivo Y1s was launched in August for $109 (approx. ₹8,100) so a similar price (₹10,000) can be expected in India. It is likely to be available in two colors – Aurora Blue and Olive Black shades. There could be two variants with Y1s coming with 2GB of RAM and 3GB of RAM options. As per the speculation, this budget smartphone is likely to come with Oppo A1k and the Galaxy M01. In comparison to the other two, the Vivo Y1s triumphs with a bigger battery than other two. However, the Galaxy M01 does offer a dual-rear lens in comparison to Vivo Y1s featuring a single rear camera.
