With less than 7.4mm width, Vivo V20 Pro is all set become the slimmest 5g smartphone of India

After the launch of Vivo V20 and Vivo V20 SE, Vivo is set to launch the Vivo V20 Pro, the most powerful V series device. The new smartphone is likely to feature more powerful specs in comparison to the V20 and will come at a slightly higher price too.

Ahead of the official launch, there are rumors that the V20 Pro is set to become the slimmest 5G smartphone in India. Vivo is reportedly focusing on the design of the device as it looks to make the V20 the sleekest handset in India with a 5G chipset inside its shell. While the exact information about the dimensions is still unavailable, rumors are that it could be less than 7.4mm in thickness.

Vivo V20 Pro rumored specifications

September of 2020 saw the official release of Vivo V20 Pro globally, so the Indian version could have similar specs. The device features a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1080p x 2400p resolution. Powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, it is coupled perfectly with the Adreno 620 GPU and 8GB of RAM. In terms of storage, you get 128GB of internal storage that can expand to as much as 1TB via a microSD card. The Vivo V20 Pro will come with Android 10 OS topped with Vivo’s own Funtouch OS 11.

In terms of camera specs, the V20 Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 64MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP mono sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. There is also a 44MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture and an 8MP secondary camera with an f/2.8 aperture.

The Vivo V20 Pro measures 158.82×74.20×7.39mm and packs a 4,000Ah battery with support for 33W fast charging.

Vivo V20 Pro rumored price

Vivo V20 Pro’s price is set at ₹29,990 and is already available for pre-bookings through offline retail stores. Moreover, there is a variety of offers available ahead of the official launch.

Tushar Mehta of XDA Developers tweeted a poster of Vivo V20 Pro that leaked information about pre-order offers in India. It includes a 10% cashback on ICICI credit/debit cards, ZestMoney Finance, and more. Additionally, Bajaj Finance offers an EMI scheme to allow for an upfront fee of just ₹101 while there are several other schemes available from IDFC First Bank and Home Credit. Reliance Jio users will be eligible to get benefits of as much as ₹10,000. Pre-orders could also get V-shield complete mobile protection and Vivo upgrade rewards.
