Xiaomi has officially announced that it’ll be unveiling the latest Redmi Note 9 Series handsets on November 26 in China. The Note 9 Series is likely to feature three exciting variants where as many as two models could have 5G connectivity supports. From all the rumors and speculation making the rounds, the upcoming Redmi Note 9 Series is expected to be a success.
Xiaomi taking it to Weibo to officially announce Redmi Note 9 Series
Xiaomi announced on Weibo that the Redmi Note 9 Series will officially launch on Thursday next week (November 26th). The post also confirmed that the series could feature three models. Though no specific names were mentioned, speculation is that the names could be – Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9, and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.
Xiaomi also shared a teaser poster that revealed the design of the upcoming phones. The Chinese models will feature a circular camera setup that has four sensors and a fingerprint sensor side-mounted on the phone. The camera module is different than what can be found on the Redmi Note 9 models in India. There is also a SIM card slot towards the left frame, and a power button and volume rocker on the right side.
Redmi Note 9 rumored specifications
The Xiaomi M2007J22C or in simpler terms, Redmi Note 9 appeared on the TENAA listing and it suggested that the device is expected to sport a 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS display with 1080p x 2400p resolution. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC with a CPU that function at up to 2.4GHz. The chipset features a 5G modem to offer seamless 5G network connectivity. To keep the device running smoothly there are 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage variants.
Moreover, the Chinese Redmi Note 9 will likely come with a triple camera setup on the rear side that includes a 48MP primary camera. On the front cam aspect, the handset features a 13MP imager. In comparison, the Redmi Note 9 Indian version features a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a quad camera rear setup, and a 5,020mAh battery backup.

Redmi Note 9 Pro rumored specifications
The Redmi Note 9 Pro, on the other hand, comes with the model number M2007J17C and looks very similar to Mi 10T Lite 5G from the rear. It is likely to feature a 6.67-inch display having a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 750G SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 256GB internal storage make it a power-packed handset.
In terms of camera specs, the Note 9 Pro is expected to have a 108MP primary camera on the rear and a 16MP front camera for selfies.

The details of the third Redmi Note 9 variant are yet to be known, though speculation hints that it could be Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. As the handsets are yet to be unveiled, the only way to predict the possible color is via the listing.
