Earlier in November, reports online began hinting that Infinix is gearing up to launch the new ‘Zero’ Series in India. The Infinix Zero 8 and Infinix Zero 8i models were going to be the two models in the upcoming lineup. Interestingly, the rumors suggested that Infinix would be launching both of the variants in December but now it looks like Zero 8i will enter the market first.
Hong Kong-based Infinix has officially delayed the launch of the much-awaited Infinix Zero 8i in India. The earlier date for the arrival of Zero 8i in the Indian smartphone market was December 2nd but it is likely to release on December 3rd now. Infinix confirmed the new launch dates on its official Twitter account.

Infinix took to Twitter to break the unfortunate news of the delay. Earlier, December 2nd was set to be the official launch date but Infinix had to postpone it for a day. Infinix had to tweet explaining how the upcoming phone is loaded with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Moreover, they also mentioned the news of the delay and how they’re sorry for the inconvenience.

Infinix Zero 8i Specifications and features
The Indian version of Infinix Zero 8i will come with numerous exciting features and specifications. It features a gem-cut design with a 6.85-inch FHD+ punch-hole display and a 90Hz refresh rate. The MediaTek Helio G90T chipset powers the device while it also comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Moreover, the smartphone comes with Android 10 with XOS 7 out of the box.
In terms of camera specifications, the device features a diamond-shaped camera setting housing a quad-camera setup. The rear camera setup includes a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP tertiary sensor, and an AI sensor along with four LED flashlights. Additionally, the front camera includes dual-cameras with 16MP+8MP sensors to click high-quality selfies.
The Infinix Zero 8i comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The other specs include support for 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a microSD slot for storage expansion.

The handset will come in a single 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage variant. The smartphone is already available in the Pakistan smartphone market for PKR 34,999 (approx. ₹16,250). Therefore, the price for the Indian variant could be somewhere between ₹16,000 and ₹18,000.
