A couple of months back Google’s mid-range smartphone the Pixel 4a was surfaced on the internet hinting on a sooner launch, and ever since the smartphone was seen on leaks and renders. After a long wait, the Pixel 4a is finally arriving at the global market, as per the report the phone will be launched on August 3.
The information is leaked by Jon Prosser from the FrontPageTech Youtube channel. Prosser is known for his accurate predictions and leaks. According to him, Google is all set to launch Pixel 4a on August 3 and he claims that the launch date is 100 per cent confirmed. Back in June, it was rumored that the phone will arrive on June 3 at the Android 11 event, but it didn’t happen. Later it was reported that the Pixel 4a will be launched on July 13, but according to Prosser, the launch event got postponed due to some reasons. Let’s see what’s going to happen on August 3.

At the starting of the month, Pixel 4a was mistakenly listed on the official Google Canda store and disclosed the features of the smartphone in all glory which also confirmed that the company is planning for launch anytime soon. According to the listing, the smartphone will feature a 5.81-inch FHD+ OLED display and the listing suggest that the phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC, clubbed with 4GB of RAM.
Under the hood, the smartphone is said to be fuelled by a 3,080 mAh non-removable battery. The leaked render also revealed that the Pixel 4a will arrive with punch-hole front camera setup and a square-shaped single rear camera setup along with an LED flash. Besides, the smartphone also features a rear-mounted biometric fingerprint scanner. The rendered image confirms that the phone will arrive in the matte black color option.
According to the rumors the upcoming Google Pixel 4a is expected to come in 64GB and 128GB storage variants with up to 6GB of RAM. The smartphone is said to support an 18W fast charging technology and arrive with Android 10. Reports suggest that the 64GB variant will be launched with a price tag of $299 (approx Rs. 22,400) and the top-end model with 128GB storage will be priced at $349 (approx Rs. 26,100).
